There’s this beautiful promenade where you can take long walks and quiet and easy access beaches for sunbathing. You can enjoy the benefits of the sea water in Zoco del Negro, a natural swimming pool protected from the waves only 200mts away. If you are into sports, windsurfing, kite surfing and diving are normal activities in Arinaga. There are several schools for scubba diving. Playa del Cabrón is a natural protected underwater landscape, known for its diverse animal sea life.

Arinaga is the perfect place for those who prefer to stay away from mass tourism.
This small town has the perfect location if you plan to explore the island. 20 minutes away from the capital city of Las Palmas, 10 minutes away from the airport and easy access to main roads that takes you to natural landscapes. Arinaga is not a big city, however, there’s a variety of restaurants and bars with reasonable prices where you can try the real taste of canarian food: daily fresh fish, “papas arrugadas” (wrinkled boiled potatoes) with “mojo picón” (slightly spicy sauce). Local people is open and active. On Thursday evenings streets get more lively since it’s “pinchos night”. Pincho is a small tapa. Choose your favorite pincho to eat with your drink.
