Arinaga | Gran Canaria Stay

I took a walk this evening around 7pm on the promenade in Arinaga. At the end of it, there is a nice restaurant with great views. Right beside it, the Museo de la cal explains how this mineral was extracted, processed and the uses of it. On the other side, to the west, people enjoyed the last rays of sun on the beach. I really like how past and present can flow in a nice walk some normal day.

Hoy di un paseo por el paseo marítimo en Arinaga alrededor de las 7. Al final hay un restaurante con fantásticas vistas. Justo al lado está el Museo de la cal , donde explica como era extraída, procesada y sus diferentes usos. Del otro lado, por el oeste, los bañistas disfrutan de los últimos rayos del sol. Me gusta cómo el pasado se funde con el presente en un paseo un día cualquiera.

The Biblioplaya Titiritera is a part of the Network of Municipal Libraries of Agüimes. Since its inception in 1998, the aim of the Biblioplaya Titiritera is encouraging the habit of reading making available to vacationers, information, culture and leisure through direct reading in a centrally located nearby and easily accessible; especially for those who, taking advantage of a day at the beach, feel like reading the newspaper, a magazine or book for free.

Open July and August Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 13:00 and 16:30 to 20:30.

This year has the support of the Performing Arts Circuit de Gran Canaria and offers a program of puppets and clowns performances for children that takes place every Friday from 19:00

La Biblioplaya Titiritera es una actividad extrabibliotecaria perteneciente a la Red de Bibliotecas Municipales de Agüimes. Desde sus comienzos, en el año 1998, el objetivo de la Biblioplaya Titiritera es fomentar el hábito de la lectura poniendo al alcance de los veraneantes, información, cultura y ocio a través de la lectura directa en un lugar céntrico, cercano y de fácil acceso; sobre todo para aquellas personas que, aprovechando un día de playa, les apetezca pasar a leer la prensa, alguna revista o libro de forma libre y gratuita.

Abierta julio y agosto de lunes a viernes de 11:00 a 13:00 y de 16:30 a 20:30.

Este año cuenta con la colaboración del Circuito de Artes Escénicas de Gran Canaria y ofrece un programa de actuaciones infantiles de títeres y payasos que tiene lugar cada viernes a partir de las 19:00 horas
