“Un maravilloso lugar para alojarse. Estábamos preocupados principalmente en conseguir un sitio lejos de las zonas turísticas y en busca de un ambiente local y Arinaga es perfecto. El apartamento de Nadia es la base perfecta. Fácil de encontrar, bien equipada, cómoda y limpia. La vista desde la apartamento hace imposible decir que no al baño matutino. Sin duda consideraríamos volver a quedarnos en el apartamento si volvemos a gran Canaria. Muchas gracias Nadia.”
Estas fueron las palabras de un huésped que se alojó en nuestro apartamento en Arinaga. Y yo estoy tan contenta 🙂

“Great place to stay. We were mainly concerned with getting away from the touristy areas and looking for a local feel and Arinaga is perfect. Nadia’s apartment is the perfect base. Easy to find, well equipped, comfortable and clean. The view from the apartment made a morning sea swim impossible to say no to. Would definitely consider coming back and staying in the apartment if we came to Gran Canaria. Thank you so much Nadia.”

Festival en La Palmas

Ayer recibí a Gina y a Benedict, dos simpáticos alemanes de Colonia que venían a participar de un gran evento en la ciudad de Las Palmas. Se trata del Festival Tiempo para la Paz, un espacio donde organizaciones cívicas, educativas, artísticas, culturales y sociales, así como comunidades y grupos diversos se reúnen para celebrar la paz en todas sus formas. Este fin de semana le toca a Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, pero el 2 de febrero se celebró en Nueva Delhi y a fin de mes tendrá lugar en Dublín.

Lo mejor es lo contentos que estaban, porque el evento tendrá lugar en el Parque Santa Catalina, a pasitos del apartamento donde se están alojando.

Siempre pasan cosas en Las Palmas, ciudad inquieta. Y yo tengo que enterarme por mis huéspedes que vienen desde Alemania! A ver si me hago un hueco el finde y me doy una vuelta por la capi.

Yesterday I received Gina Benedict, two nice fellows from Cologne, Germany. They came to take part in a big event in the city of Las Palmas, the Festival Time for Peace, a space where civic, educational, artistic, cultural and social organizations and various communities and groups gather to celebrate peace in all its forms. This weekend it’s up to Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, but last February 2nd the event was held in New Delhi and in end of the month will take place in Dublin.

The best thing is how happy they were, because the event will take place in the Parque Santa Catalina, a few steps from the apartment where they are staying.

There’s always something going on in Las Palmas, restless city. And I have to find out from my guests coming from Germany! Let’s see if I get some time during the weekend and I’ll turn up at the capital.
