The building and surroundings
Casas Langostero is a building with 4 apartments, recovered from an old lobster hatchery, “El Langostero”. It is located in a natural area next to the artisanal salt flats Salinas Bocacangrejo, on the beach of Vargas, Agüimes.
The southeast zone is not a tourist area: the main activity in this area is agriculture. Access to the house through this rustic area shows an authentic facet of the Canarian town, far from the large hotels in the south of the island.
Although it is just 8 km from the airport, regular flights are not a problem, since the routes of the planes go into the interior of the island and the house is right on the beach. The only thing that is heard is the constant sound of the waves.
